L’ata notte me sunnaie ca’ tutte duie
steveme a Ischia sdraiate n’coppe a spiaggia
parlaveve cu’ tanti amici, mieie e tuoie
po’ me’ scete me’ trovo sule e me piglia arraggia
 
Me si venuta n’zuonne tanti vote
te veche me parle po’ piglie e te ne vaie
vaie sempre e presse po’ tuorne nata vota
nun te sento mai e parla’ mo’ tu’ addo’ staie
 
Nun te scurda’ e me’ tuorname ancora
mo’ tu’ si l’angiulillo mio e paraviso
te tenche sempe astretta dinte a stu’ core
mantieneme sempe allegro e cu’ surrise

YOU CAME INTO MY DREAMS
 
I’ve always have this thought in my heart
that I know where it comes from and why
often I get up from the chair and go outside
open my front door and from afar I see you
 
The other night I was dreaming that both of us
we were in Ischia laying on the beach
talking with the many friends mine and yours
than I wake up find myself alone and I get mad
 
You have come into my dreams so many times
I see you talk to me and that you leave
You are always in a hurry than you return again
but you never mention to me where you are now
 
Don’t ever forget me come to my dreams again
you are now my guardian angel of Paradise
I will always have you clenched in my heart
please keep me always happy and with a smile
