LA LUCE DEL TUO VISO  

La luce del tuo viso

accende il sorriso

infiamma anima e core

qual sol che cade

pria della notte

dal ciel scarlatto

trafitto dall’iride  della vita.

Lo sguardo sguizzante

qual lo schiocco di una frusta,

gli occhi brillanti

qual un baleno

nel vento del tempo

che spazza gli anni

THE LIGHT OF YOUR FACE

The light of your face

sparks the smile

that inflames soul and heart

like , before night,

the falling sun

 from a scarlet sky

transfixed by the rainbow of life.

The  slipping glance

like  the crack of a whip

the brilliant eyes

like a flash

in the wind of time

that sweeps away years

except

the light of your face.
