Arricchirse tutto rinte a nu jiuorne, si damme sti’ soldi a nate
aspettanne ca chiste, ce fa’ nu’ buono investimento
nuie po’nun sapimme, addo’ isse se’ l’ha purtato
e’ stato fesso chi’ l’ha creduto, ca’ mo’ ha fatto fallimento
 
Allora dice nu’ proverbio buono, chille ca’ se’ guarda o suoie
sicuramente e proprio chille, ca’ se truvarra’ meglio e late
lascia sta’ e soldi mieie, ammiscate cu’ e tuoie
e meglio che tenghe io mane, e tu’ nun me le sciupate
 
Allora pe’ sta’ senza penziero, guardete da tutti chisti attuorno
cuntete e soldi a poco a poco, e farle crescere lento lento
nun pensa’ proprio e t’arricchi’ rinte a unu jiuorne

we put money on the side, for when we get old
we think of our retirement , and if we are left in the dark ( penniless)
there is the ones that have money , and the ones left with just the skin
 
To get rich all in one day, giving our money to someone else
waiting fir this guy to make us a good investment
but we really don’t know where our money as been taken
Is dumb the ones that gave to him and now declared bankruptcy
 
Than: says a good proverb, who ever watches his own money
for sure is the one that will be better off on the end
listen to me forget about my money mixed up with yours
Its better if I hold down to it , and I don’t let you waste it
 
Therefore to live without worries, watch out from all these crooks
count your money every day, and let it grow slowly but surely
don’t even think that you can get rich in one day
and stay a hundred miles away from all these investments
